CV joint and CV axle Important considerations when purchasing

Clarify Vehicle Information: Before purchasing, please confirm your vehicle model, year, engine displacement, and even the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), as different configurations may have completely different CV axle specifications (such as length and number of inner and outer teeth).

Distinguish Between Inner and Outer CV Joints: CV axles consist of an inner CV joint connecting to the transmission and an outer CV joint connecting to the wheels. The location of the damage differs, requiring different parts.

Choose an Assembly or Repair Kit: If only the dust boot is broken or the CV joint noise is not severe, you can choose to purchase a "CV joint repair kit" (which includes a new CV joint, dust boot, clamps, and grease). If the damage is severe, it is recommended to replace the entire "half-shaft assembly."

Consider Brand and Quality: CV axles are important transmission and safety components; it is recommended to choose a reliable brand to avoid incurring greater losses due to minor issues.
